Dear subscribers… are there really 3,000 of you? I am not particularly savvy with all this, but apparently I have that many users. WHO KNEW? In reality I don’t know how many of you will read this, but just in case a few of you do, here is the update for The Passionate Pursuits of Angela Bowen. The film has been a hit wherever it has screened and it is not even in its final final form. Of course the reason for that is moola. But there is another reason too.
Angela is in the hospital. She has been through a lot since October 31st when we brought her in for stomach problems and it turned out to be second stage colon cancer. She is recovering, but at 78, she also has Alzheimer’s. She is still wonderful to be with, although her access to words is not as it was, but her smile, laughter, enjoyment of good company, good movies and music is in tact.
So, I am urging you to consider purchasing Angela’s 5 star book: “Out of the Blue: Aleta’s Stories”, The Edge of Each Other’s Battles: The Vision of Audre Lorde, and other videos and award winning feminist and lesbian media projects on the website www.jenniferabod.com
Of course all donations are welcome and I have two non-profit agencies.
