Angela gave me a golden smile after she watched the shortened show. This is an inspiring, powerful, funny documentary is about an important figure in the evolution of Black Feminism in the U.S. It is the story of a young girl who grew up during the Jim Crow era, went on to become a classical ballerina, legendary dance teacher, and black lesbian feminist activist, writer and professor.
